Office
Buildings - Have appraised all types of office buildings
from a single tenant office condominium to a twin tower, 355,000
square foot office complex located in Rockville, Maryland. Individual
office appraisals have included several free-standing office buildings
which were now or formerly utilized as branch banks,
owner occupied office buildings up to 100,000
square feet in size and multi-tenant office buildings.
Commercial
Properties - Our firm has appraised a broad range of
commercial properties over the past two years. Among other types
of commercial buildings appraised have included single
tenant retail buildings, strip shopping centers
anchored by Food Lion and other grocery stores,
unanchored retail shopping centers and automotive oriented properties
(tire centers, mini-lube facilities, muffler shops, self-service
and automated car wash facilities, service stations with repair
facilities, convenience stores). We have appraised several
restaurants including fast food restaurants and
full service, family style restaurants. Other
commercial buildings appraised have included building
materials and plant product retail businesses,
day care centers, funeral homes and
automobile dealerships.
Industrial
Properties - Included within our recent appraisal database
have included several industrial properties, including owner occupied
manufacturing buildngs, research and development buildings,
distribution buildings, warehouse properties and multi-tenant
flex-space properties. We have also appraised industrial
subdivisions for developers and lenders, including industrial
parks located in the Dulles North Corridor.
Residential
Properties - While the emphasis of our firm is on commercial
and industrial appraisal projects, we have experience in the appraisal
of multi-family residential properties, upscale residential properties
including country estates and country inns. We have appraised
several apartment properties including several
properties which were funded under the Low Income Housing Tax
Credit Program. We have also appraised several historic
country estates in central Virginia including "Hatton
Grange", a 2,500 acre estate with a 7,500 square foot manor
home, "Enniscorthy", a 1,200 acre estate with a 13,000
square foot manor home and "Estouteville", a 440 acre
estate with another 13,000 square foot manor home. Our appraisal
of country estate properties have included the appraisal of the
impact of preservation easements on the market
value of a property for tax purposes. We also have extensive experience
in the appraisal of country inns in Virginia
including the Prospect Hill Country Inn (Louisa County), the Silver
Thatch Inn (Albemarle County), the Willow Grove Inn (Orange County),
the Mayhurst Inn (Orange County) and Oceola Mill (Rockbridge County).
Finally, our appraisal of residential properties have included
the appraisal of residential subdivisions. We
have appraised residential subdivisions throughout Virginia, including
resort developments at the Smith Mountain Lake, Wintergreen and
Lake Gaston.

have recently appraised hotels located in Charlottesville, Albemarle

property, vineyards, orchards, plant (greenhouse) farms
